With all the rumors flying around about Dark Angels and the bogus ones concerning Orks, I find it amazing that no one has mentioned anything about one codex that is in need of the most love. Before I talk about that, I want to add to the chorus that Dark Angels are heading our way Jan or Feb.
Now back to why you are reading this in the first place, the Black Templars, well I got some news for you!
And sadly, you’re probably not going to like it.
Earlier this year I was told that Black Templars would be getting the White Dwarf treatment aka like Sisters of Battle. Then earlier this month Robin Cruddace teased everyone a little bit by not confirming or denying they would get folded into the next Space Marine codex.
So after doing a bit of investigating I want to confirm that Black Templars are still on track for the White Dwarf treatment by summer 2013 at the latest. Now I do have one caveat: it could very well mean they are getting an “update” not a White Dwarf codex, but all I am hearing is a two issue White Dwarf codex to bring them in-line with 6th edition.
More importantly what changes are we are looking at?
While detailed specifics are hard to come by this is what I got so far.
Vows are gone, but are now folded into specific Black Templar Warlord Traits and have changed dramatically. Unique characters including the Emperor’s Champion will get specific ones.
The Emperors Champion is not required taking.
“No Pity, No Remorse, No Fear” & “Righteous Zeal” are Crusader & Zealot with various conditions. Expect various additional rules to kick in when Black Templars start dying.
“Abhor the Witch” is staying
Neophytes have their own unit lead by an Initiate (flip of Fluff and rules here a bit, but makes sense)
Rumored to be gone.
“They Shall know no Fear” Zealot to fill the gap my guess.
“Tank Hunters”
That is all I have for now, this one is still a bit away so will be interesting to see if anything changes as we get closer.

Сегодня произошел релиз новой книги кампаний на офф сйте ГВ:
This 96-page, full-colour hardcover book features exclusive artwork and a host of dynamic new rules. As well as the campaign system itself, the book contains rules that can be used in any Warhammer 40,000 game, from massive multi-player scenarios fought in low-gravity environments or in bunkers deep below the ground, to expanded rules for Flyers. It also features rules for playing games in the gladiatorial arenas of Commorragh as well as for fighting battles on the surface of a Daemon World.

Рыская по просторам китайской сети, напоролся на блог игрового клуба в Китае. Там тоже тестят Десент, играют в Ваху и прочие астолки. Тиранидов они, кстати, зовут зергами.

This time around though its from the Black Library and Gav Thorpe. I have been keeping up on Gav Thorpe's series of books about eldar and their background, which I think is the strongest part of his books so far, and I expect this one to be no different. The exciting part of this is its about Howling Banshees.

Now it's time to start on Howl of the Banshee, a new Eldar audio. did toy around with the idea of having a main character as a male Banshee for Path of the Warrior, but not this time around - it will be an all-female cast. It's a one-off story not related to the Path series, with the characters hailing from Biel-tan rather than Alaitoc.

The Eldar codex has been started. I take the rumor below to mean that the design and testing side of things is done, and everything has been handed over to the author for writing. If that is the case its normally a about a 6 month deal to finish it. That doesnt mean released in 6 months, rather the codex will be ready to be released in that time period.
An Eldar codex of course would mean great things, like seeing the eldar back on the tabletop again, and a resurgence of their dark kin.
Please remember that these are rumors.

Wraithguards will be plastic with a HtH option (swords)

HQ:
Azrael - Artificer or Terminator options. New model. Lions Helm grants 3+ Inv., Lion's Wrath grants Gets Hot rerolls (army-wide?), Master crafted Plasma Blaster (see Horus Heresy book?), Sword of Secrets is Sx2 Master Crafted Power weapon. Watcher in the Dark model is W:1 5+ Inv, with no other stats. It cannot be targeted by anything including blasts, and must stay within 2" of Azrael or is removed. Watcher can take Look Out Sirs.
Belial - Terminator armor. New model. Eternal Warrior 2+ Inv!!! Grants Elites Deathwing Termys Heroic Intervention if he is attached. Cannot take options, Master Crafted Strombolter. Sword of Secrets is a Relic Blade with an additional effect. Belian grants a buff to Termys within 6".
Sammael - If mounted in his Speeder, unlocks scoring Speeders. Can also take his normal bike.
Azmodai - Current model (finecast) Unlocks no units. His Litanies grants a longer ranged more potent buff.
Ezekiel - Current model (finecast), Psyker Level 3
Barakiel - Master of the Forge. Armed with a "Reaper Cannon" - 36" S:5 Assault (6 or 12?) AP:3 Extremely Expensive in points.
Librarian - Power Level 1 (upgrade to 2)
Company Master - Power Armor, or Terminator armor
Interrogator ChaplainCommand/Honor squad Terminators or Bikes with Belial or Sammael respectively, Apothecary, Standard bearer, 1x Heavy weapon upgrades.  W:2  regardless of armor, or bikes.
Elites:Chaplains / Brother-Interrogators - Unit size 1-3. Chaplain style death masks, dual bolt pistols and power maul. (can upgrade pistols). B-I have an increased BS over regular chaplains and can operate independantly as IC or join units, B-I only buff the unit they join with litanies (more potent version), while non-upgraded chaplains buff a 6" bubble. B-I are only characters if independent, and cannot leave attached units (similar to Wolfguard).
Inner Circle Unit Terminator armor. W:1, Heroic Intervention if Belial is attached to the unit. WS/BS 5. They get a cover save upon deepstriking. "Lion-themed" visually. Entire unit can purchase Sergeant upgrades. No heavy weapons, Unit max size:5. Categorized as Deathwing Assault Unit
Dreadnought - Venerable and  Mortis options. Categorized as Deathwing Assault Unit.
Scouts - Land Speeder Storm as dedicated transport. "Markerlight" effect targets one enemy unit - other Dark Angels units then get a bonus (reroll to hit?) versus the unit as long as the Scouts are within line of sight to thier "Fallen" target. Teleport Homer. Sergeant Namaan (WOOHOO!!) returns, granting Reserve rerolls to all Death Wing units.

DeathwingHonor Guard Terminator squad unlocked by select HQs (Belial - others???). One such unit per HQ, only one may carry a Chapter Banner. Other banners exist however. Models are W:2 WS/BS:5 Non-scoring. Can take Apothecary.
Elite Terminators are W:1, WS/BS:5. Unit has new CC options neverbefore seen on termys. Unit size max of 5. Vanguard Strike upon Deepstriking!
Troops Terminators are standard DW. Sergeant may upgrade to to Chaplain. Can take new options such as Plasma Cannon. Up to 10 models per unit. No more Cyclone/CC option on single models. Mix of CC and Ranged models still permitted withing unit.
RavenwingRW Command Squad is only unlocked by select HQ characters. One banner option for RW. No apothecary for RW, with a "Mini-Chaplain" upgrade instead. This option provide a Litanies buff his unit only.
Troop RW squad matches the current RW bike squad, minus the Speeder.
RW Attack Bikes - plasma gunner option
RW Land Speeders - plasma gunner option

Новые слухи об орках!
First we can start with orks what i have heard is that they stay the same with furious charge and mob rules but all orks ( not grots or squigs)
will get FnP 6+ as a race because they are basically tough and it takes a lot to kill and stop an ork.
Most weapons will stay the same except choppas are ap6 but gain ap5 on charge and big choppers will be +2s and ap4 and ap3 on charge.
Nobz stay the same but are getting more characterful upgrades available to them, new kinds or grot assistants such as suicide grots(act alot like bomb squigs but prone to blowing up in unit) and
ammo runts and attack squigs also more weapon options like Big shootas and such.
new nob mega armour unit with teleporting abilities but its teleporting works differently from conventional deepstrike bit more random.
There is a special mek character that can bestow teleportation on D3 units.
special bloodaxe character with rules that can bring back boyz units once they are destroyed, much like an imperial guard special character.
A large multi wound squigoth type creature, not FW, it is ever hungry and uses a hunger points system. if it doesn't fulfill the hunger points in enemy's it will rampage nearest unit friend or
foe in order to eat.
Two new ork psychic lists for weirdboys, Mork more offencive and Gork more strategic. Many powers in the lists get more powerful the more orks are around the weirboy,
although the more powerful they are the more dangerous they are if they are miscast as they will often misdirect or hit the weirdboy and unit.
New ork only fortifications (including an ork rock) and an ork only warlord chart.
